Why Physioaesthetics?

aesthetic and physiotherapeutic solutions

Physioaesthetics offers innovative solutions for skin problems and physical impairments that may arise due to aging or post-operative conditions. This specialized field of physiotherapy and medical aesthetics is dedicated to the prevention, strengthening, and rehabilitation of the skin, fascia, muscles, bones, and joints. Physioaesthetics goes beyond traditional medical cosmetics, providing a comprehensive, systemic treatment. The most advanced devices in aesthetic medicine are utilized, complemented by extensive analyses, including skin history, physiotherapeutic tests, and lymphatic and body analyses. The goal is to uncover functional disorders and improve both the quality of the skin and the function of the underlying tissue layers.

Physioaesthetics – A New Era in Switzerland

PA Group practice

Physioaesthetics is a medical specialty that found its origins in Brazil during the 1990s, initially spreading to countries with a strong tradition in plastic and aesthetic surgery, particularly in America and Brazil. Over the past few years, it has also been gaining popularity in Europe. The PhysioAesthetics Group® has introduced physioaesthetics to Switzerland, inaugurating the first center specialized in this field in the heart of Zurich in September 2023.

The PhysioAesthetics Group® team is committed to establishing physioaesthetics as a vital discipline in post-operative medical care following aesthetic or reconstructive surgical procedures. Our goal is to professionalize this largely uncharted field in Switzerland. Furthermore, we aim to introduce and expand upon an advanced concept of skin and tissue care within the field of longevity medicine in Switzerland. To achieve this, we rely on a combination of the latest equipment technology in medical cosmetics and targeted physiotherapeutic methods, aiming to enhance not just the quality of the skin but also the functionality of the underlying tissue structures.
